  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Sargent’s stock continues to rise, having seen a top-tier transfer speculated on in the summer of 2024, and interest is building heading towards the next window. The expectation is that the 25-year-old will be rubbing shoulders with the elite of English football in 2025-26.

    DID YOU KNOW?

A report from EFL Analysis states that: “Sargent has a host of clubs looking at him. There is a real chance he returns to the Premier League next season, whether that be with Norwich or not. Sargent has settled brilliantly and now many consider him the best striker in the Championship. Leeds like him a lot and are keeping close tabs on him, but Nottingham Forest, Newcastle, Brentford, Fulham and Everton have all watched him in 2025. He is going to be playing top-flight football next season, no matter what!”

  • WHAT NEXT FOR JOSH SARGENT?

Norwich have Sargent tied to a long-term contract through to 2028. That means they are under no pressure to sell and can demand the largest possible fee from any transfer talks. The Missouri native will be eager to test himself in the Premier League again after managing just two goals at that level after moving to Carrow Road in 2021.
